Series "faces" & "eyes"

The series of drawings "Faces" and "Eyes," featuring a distinctive central point - the eye, was primarily created between 2019 and 2022, during the pandemic when eyes and faces took on new significance. When masks covered our mouths, our eyes became more expressive than ever before. They became a window to the soul, where our emotions were reflected in our gazes. The expression on our faces, although partially concealed, still played a crucial role in our daily social interactions. Striving to read emotions through masks, we learned to appreciate the subtle signals from the eyes.
