"Contour Drawings" is a collection of drawings from the year 2022. They serve as a record of the artist's thoughts, observations, and interpretations of the surrounding reality, as well as his emotions. They represent a free variation on the themes of the body, time, and space. They were created as a result of a gesture devoid of any constraints, to which the artist intentionally granted complete freedom. Contour drawings demonstrate that chance and even error can be creative elements and co-create art. They prove that the products of spontaneous, unplanned actions are unpredictable, hence intriguing, surprising, interesting, and beautiful.
